This policy describes how InvitatiaNoastra collects, uses and protects your personal data.
InvitatiaNoastra is an online platform that allows couples to create personalised wedding websites and manage their guest lists and RSVP responses. We are based in Romania and operate in accordance with European Union law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). From couples (account holders): Name and email address, wedding details you choose to add (date, venue, your story, photos), payment information (processed securely — we do not store card data). From guests (via RSVP forms): Name, RSVP response, any additional information submitted through the RSVP form (e.g. dietary preferences, number of guests), contact details if provided.
Creating and managing the wedding website — Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing RSVP responses on behalf of the couple — Legitimate interest of the couple organising the event (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Platform-related communications — Legitimate interest / consent. Legal and financial obligations — Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
The couple who created the wedding invitation can see all RSVP responses submitted by their guests. This is the primary purpose of the platform. The InvitatiaNoastra team may access data solely for technical support and maintenance purposes. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We may use trusted third-party providers (e.g. hosting, email delivery) who process data strictly on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Account and wedding data is retained for as long as the account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including guest RSVP responses) is permanently deleted within 30 days. After the wedding date, you can request deletion of all guest data at any time by contacting us.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights: • Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you. • Right to rectification — you can request correction of inaccurate data. • Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"). • Right to restriction of processing — you can request that we limit how we use your data. • Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. • Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format. We use only essential cookies necessary for the platform to function (e.g. maintaining your login session). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify account holders of significant changes by email or via an announcement on the platform. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
